Nottinghamshire

Cricket Umpires' Association

   Welcome

The Association was formed in 1953 with the objectives of improving the standard of umpiring and to secure uniform interpretation of the Laws; to provide instruction on the Laws and to encourage a spirit of co-operation amongst umpires at all levels of cricket.

Training courses are run every year commencing in January. For further details go to the training page.

Local cricket is chronically short of umpires. Please help to recruit more members.

It will be necessary in order to umpire in local cricket to have obtained clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau.
